Review: Essence 2 in 1 Eyeliner Pen

Today I am going to review Essence 2 in 1 eyeliner pen. This is my very first review on any product hope you people will like it. This is a brand from Germany and getting quite popular in Pakistan now a days. It has a wide range of eyes, face and nail products in a reasonable price. It is easily available in market.

Packaging

The packaging is quite sturdy.This eyeliner pen comes in glossy black packaging with copper and silver font. It is a dual ended pen as the name suggests. One side is thick broad angled felt tip for bold and dramatic look and the other thin and long applicator for precise natural look. Thick and thin side mentioned on the pen so that you don’t need to open and check before applying. Caps of both sides are tight but easy to open and close with a click.

My Views

I used any pen liner for the first time for about a year now. It also comes with a single thin tip pen but I want to buy this one as it gives two different looks. It has thin light consistency with a matte finish which dries out quickly after few seconds of application. So it will not smudge and mess up your entire look. I mostly wear it for about 4 to 5 hours and it did not budge at all in summers also. I mostly use thin long applicator to get precise thin wing look. Thick angled tip is useful for bold line and dramatic wing look. Angled tip gives you more control in making wing properly. Sometimes I used both the sides simultaneously like thin applicator on the inner corners of eye and thick applicator to make line from center to end with wing. Its not pigmented well so that you need to apply two coats to get the bold color. As you can see in the picture that thin tip is not too pointed as some other pen liners are. I personally don’t like the felt tip applicators because by the passage of time the tip get spoiled. When this pen is new it glides on your skin easily and gives you the sleek look in seconds but as time passes its hard to apply and almost after a year it dried out. So always store it in a laying position so that the product in it spread evenly on both the sides.Do shake it before applying.

Suggestions

If you are a beginner and face difficulty in applying liquid eyeliners then this product is surely for you. It gives you the complete control in applying desired look. As it is in a shape of pen which can be hold easily and its felt tip makes it more easy to apply right amount of product with creating mess. If you are a pro still its a right product for you especially in summers as it will give you the matte look.
