Makeup Revolution is raising their game up by the amazing releases now and then. Firstly this brand released most raved concealer conceal and define which I yet to review. Now fast base stick foundation hits the market.
I will be reviewing today Makeup Revolution foundation stick base in shade F14. Lets jump into it.
- Launched in 18 shades and a range of undertones
- Fast base foundation quickly perfects, contours and highlights your complexion.
- The easy-to-apply stick formula melts into skin, blending seamlessly to leave a fresh and dewy finish.
- Twist up, swipe on and blend out with fingers, a beauty sponge or your favorite foundation brush.
Packaging is simple yet decent. The stick comes in a beige and gold shade which is made up of both plastic and metal. Lid is securely closed. Shade number is written at the bottom. It is little bit heavier to make it feel good quality. Strong packaging.
It is a dewy finish foundation which I knew will not be a good combo for my skin type. That is the reason I decided to buy shade F14 to use it as a cream contour. I never tried cream contour before this as I feel more comfortable with powders but I really want to try this base anyway. F14 has a cool undertone which is perfect contour shade for medium skin tone. This foundation is creamy and buttery. It blends like a dream. I use to blend it with a damp sponge and it melts into skin making it so natural. Then I set it with contour powder. It sets beautifully onto skin. I also tried to blend it with brush and it blends smoothly with that as well. It gives me the more natural contour which I really appreciate. It has a buildable coverage. It doesn’t oxidize on my skin. It doesn’t cake me up.
It stays on my skin for pretty 5 to 6 hours and then I use to wash it off but it tends to start fading from my nose area in these hours. I use it as a cream contour which I think last me long but as a foundation base its quantity is quite less.
I really impressed by the quality that how it melts onto skin.
- blends effortlessly
- doesn’t oxidize
- gives natural finish
- buttery formula
- melts onto skin
- doesn’t look cake-y
- decent and strong packaging
- travel friendly
- less quantity
- not suitable as a foundation for oily skin
Would I Recommend
I definitely recommend this fast base foundation stick especially dry skin girls, it will work really well for you. If you are tired of your cake-y looking face then go for it. It will work perfect for everyday use. If you have normal skin again this will work for you but if you have oily skin like me try this foundation in winters.
