Blushes plays a vital role in any of our makeup look. There was a time when I had a blushes obsession and talked about it in one of my previous blog post.
Today I will be talking about a blush from a very known brand Essence. Essence makeup is famous for its affordability. Now lets find out is it any good or not?
This blush comes in a clear round plastic packaging where name and quantity is written on the lid, other details are mentioned on the bottom side. Lid is easy to open and close. Blush itself has a pattern on it which you can see in the photo and because of continuous use it is rubbing off from the center. Packaging is simple and ordinary but I do not have any complains.
I got 2 essence matte blushes one is 10 peach me up and other one is 20 berry me up. Unfortunately lost peach me up and never find yet. So basically talking about 20 berry me up shade today. I already reviewed essence satin touch blush, if you are interested to know about that as well then click here .
Berry me up is a berry pink kind of a shade which is natural everyday shade ( photos are not doing justice). The blush itself is soft to touch. It is a purely matte as mentioned on the packaging which I really love about it because I adore matte blushes always. It has a smooth formulation and milled finely. The most important thing is that it is not chalky. It is not pigmented enough which is again a plus point for me but it depends on personal preference. You can build it according to your desire. It blends on face nicely.
It is not long lasting, it stays for 3 hours almost and then starts fading. You can manage with it if you do not mind touch ups. Overall it is a nice and decent product.
