I am blessed with an oily skin which means you will get open pores complimentary. So after elf mineral infused primer which I already reviewed I want to try NYX Pore Filler primer as NYX is one of my favorite brand.

NYX Pore Filler Primer
Heard alot of mixed reviews about it but still wanted to try myself. Now let’s have a look that this nyx pore filler primer is worth to buy or not?
Packaging
Nyx pore filler primer comes in a white squeezable tube with a screw cap. Tube has a nozzle kind of opening which dispenses the product but sometimes getting a product in one go is difficult.

My Thoughts
It’s texture is quite different from other primers. It does not look smooth and seems like it has a gritty texture but there is nothing when you feel it and it is as smooth as other primers because it is a silicone base primer.
You just need a pea size amount, apply in a dabbing motion and you will get powdery finish. When you apply it onto your skin it melts like a balm. It makes your foundation last long. It is in nude color which almost becomes clear when you dab it on your skin. This primer does fill up your pores from 40% to 50% which is a good ratio in my point of view as no primer will cover your pores completely. It works really good for smoothing out your skin which makes foundation application easy. I tried this primer in extreme hot weather and it makes my foundation put together for good hours.

As it has no talc and oil in it but it does not control oil which I never mind because if you have oily skin there is no solution to control your oil completely nor makes your skin oily.
I really love how it smooths out skin and feels light. The only thing which I do not like about it is that when you squeeze the tube so sometimes it squirt and a lot of product comes out.
Quantity
0.67 fl.oz./ 20 mL
Price & Availability
It costs $14 on official site and in Pakistan it costs you about 2000 Pkr and you can get this from online stores.

I’m not the biggest fan of pore filling primers but it’s always good to have one in stash for specific makeup looks. It’s important to use them when makeup needs to be flawless all day long, so I have one Catrice that I use when I want smooth skin. It could definitely be a dupe for this one as NYX is pretty expensive here. Lovely review. xx

You must be have a good skin❤ That’s good that you have primer in your stash as primers build up the longetivity of your makeup. Catrice one sounds really good because dupes sometimes really do better. Thank you for your comment dear❤

Truthfully, I’ve never used a pore filling primer. I barely wear makeup as it is so I try not to make frivolous purchases on items I don’t understand. Thanks for the review!

This is interesting to read about. I’ve never tried a pore filler before and at that price, I would be hesitant to make it a first attempt, so I really enjoyed having the opportunity to learn a bit about it first!

I’m glad this worked for you! I have very dry skin so pores aren’t really an issue for me, but I do use a smoothing one from time to time so it sounds like this one might still work for me x
