Hi lovelies
hope you are enjoying winters perfectly. Today I am going to share my absolute favorite diy face mask. It has a lots of benefits and easy to make. As we all know that there are several oatmeal mask available in the market.
So oatmeal is a natural cleanser which removes all the dirt and impurities from deep inside the skin which our daily cleansers does not whereas yogurt gives you healthy fresh skin. It is for all skin types but if you are allergic with any of the ingredient then avoid this mask.
Benefits of Yogurt
- It contains lactic acid which gives healthy smooth skin
- It prevents signs of aging
- It works as a natural moisturizer
Benefits of Oatmeal
- It has anti- inflammatory properties which calms and soothes your skin
- It has a cleansing properties
- It helps acne prone skin
Ingredients you need
- Yogurt 2 tablespoon
- Oatmeal 1 1/2 tablespoon
Preparation of mask
Take yogurt in a bowl and add oatmeal( no grinding is required) in it. Mix well and apply on to your clean face with fingers. Spread it all over your face. Try to cover yourself with a towel because oatmeal will fall from your face. No rubbing or massaging is required. Lay down for about 20 minutes and then wash it off with tap water.
Benefits of mask
This mask acts like a cleanser as well as scrub. It exfoliates skin gently. I really love the way yogurt moisturizes skin. Oatmeal provides deep cleansing. You will find your skin smooth, soft, healthy and fresh right after washing your face. You can use this mask once a week. If you have any function to attend then do use it before and you will love your clean healthy look.
Do let me know about your thoughts if you used this before. For any queries feel free to ask in the comment section below.
Really nice idea… Will test over the weekend thanks

I love DIY masks! Have you noticed a difference if you use different types of yogurt?

I always used same yogurt so can’t say much about it but I think it will not make a difference because yogurt is natural ingredient.

This sounds interesting and I have both ingredients at home already! I always want to try home made face masks but seem to be missing something and then forget so I’ll have to give this a go soon, maybe this weekend.
